How a bout designing your ain woods background 

not simply a texture or a pattern you larn from network , I hateful " Designing your woods background " from scratch !.

well My previous tutorial about  designing Folder icon  was actually good 

so I decided to brand some other tutorial for some other Design 

How to design a woods Background !!

well you lot require wood and a lot of wood how is that ??!!.

Step 1 : Creating the + Part

Step1 :  Creating the  + Part 

first of all make anew layer 

then write amongst type tool the Symbol " + " .

Then duplicate it 

    rasterize the 2 layers , together with thence :

                                                  - the master 1 fill upwards it amongst a chocolate-brown color .

                                                  - the duplicated layer , fill upwards it amongst dark color.

 After that select the black layer then CTRL+ Click on its thumbnail  to select it 

   then from  Filter >> Render >> Fibers , role the values that is suitable for you lot .

Then amongst keeping selection on, brand a motility Blur Effect .

 Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur :

                                                 - Angle     = 90

                                                 - Distance = l  
  Or what is suitable for you lot .

   And the next Pic illustrates that 

Now add together these Blending Options to the brown layer :
  - Bevel together with Emboss      -Inner Shadow

 And hither is the Result For Step 1 :

Step 2 :  Making other Parts for the Pattern 

Now nosotros are going to make iv Rectangles around the symbol

Well , Press CTRL+R to demo ruler then generate guide lines around the  +  similar below 

that volition hand me iv areas

now select 1 of them also similar below together with thence create novel layer , seat it inward separated group 

then duplicate it 

                             - starting fourth dimension layer volition endure brown 

                             - 2nd which is upper volition endure filled amongst black 

               as Below

Again generate Fibers every bit earlier , the fibers volition vertical 

I wanted it to endure horizontal thence with costless transform rotate the rectangle 90 degrees together with thence resize it to check to the previous shape

then brand a motion blur filter every bit earlier but with 0 degrees  . 

Now repeat that business office 3 to a greater extent than times 

that gives us 4 parts around the + Symbol.

Then merge them to make 1 layer includes them all .

and add together the following Blend Options .

Now brand guide lines to stand upwards for the seat of the nails similar below

then brand 8 circles with most  5-7 px  around the + Sympole together with fill them amongst a Grey color .

then brand thses blend options for them but afterwards you lot seat them inward a novel layer . 

The in conclusion final result for step 1 & 2 will endure every bit follows :

Step iii : Defining the Pattern 

Now select the whole shape every bit below together with rasterize the whole layer together with thence seat them all inward one group 

then right click and choose merge group

that would brand the shape every bit solely 1 layer

By keeping the pick on 

or you lot could reselect it again 

the from Edit >> lead define Pattern

Then to lead the Pattern tool 

first lead Paint Bucket Tool or Press G 

then from the upper menu lead instead of foreground >> lead Pattern 

Now select the pattern we simply made together with thence fill the background .

Step iv : adding some effects

I placed a circle like below , fill it amongst a yellow color then changed the layer blend mood to over lay .

Here i moved the circle a fighting tothe left together with thence CTRL+Shift+I to inverse the pick Then added a dark color 

and changed its blend mood to soft light 

I changed some values inward the " brightness & Contrast " . similar below 

then added a new layer amongst a modest circle with white Color together with changed its blend mood to soft low-cal .

Also I placed a texture to it together with changed its blend to Soft Light .

And hither is the result 

Move upwards together with run into what you lot accept done.
